Don is a Managing Director of Xnergy Financial. Don brings a new dimension of services to Xnergy with his 30+ years of experience in the Wealth Management, corporate pension and employee
benefits area. Additionally, throughout his career Don has helped develop and finance numerous Real Estate and business ventures.
In 2006 Don formed Santa Fe’ Wealth Management, Inc. “a Registered Investment Advisory firm” in San Diego, California to provide a broad range of Investment Advisory services to his clients. Prior to forming SFWM, Don was a founder and managing partner of Lombardi Haskell Wealth Management, Inc. in Cardiff, Ca.
Don’s career in the financial services industry started in 1974 and in 1975 Don joined Principal Financial Group and Princor Financial Services, A registered Broker dealer. Principal is considered one of the top pension and employee benefit plan providers in the country. Don spent over 9 years with Principal and during his tenure there, Don gained a broad knowledge of corporate employee benefit plans, business cessation and various tax minimization strategies.
Don left Principal to become an independent insurance agent and securities broker. During this time Don managed and helped build two independent brokerage offices for various investment
firms and started developing real estate and business ventures. In 2001 Don and a partner formed Lombardi Haskell Wealth Management, the predecessor of Santa Fe’ Wealth Management, Inc. which in addition to his position with Xnergy Financial continues to provide these services today.
Through the use of various advanced planning and tax saving strategies Don has helped clients save millions of dollars in taxes, helped protect their families, preserve businesses for future generations and fulfill client’s philanthropic goals.
